Today is Veteran’s Day. I spent part of the day thinking about those in my family who have served in our military. I think that those who serve in the military provide a great service to our country. They keep us safe and allow our country to flourish.
My brother spent some time in Iraq when I was very young. I remember that when he came back I was super excited to see him again. Sometimes you do not know if a memory was recreated from pictures or if that memory actually held up—I would like to think that this memory has stayed with me. (Although my memory has me waving a small American flag, no photos of that 🙁)

Other than that, I spent time creating a Gingerbread house with my sister. I would consider it a success! Can you guess which side was mine?

Then, I worked on some things for the OA Central Region’s upcoming Section Officer’s Seminar. Since we’re using Microsoft Teams for the sessions, I have to ensure all of the section officers has an account and has access to their account before this weekend. Most of the Teams setup is being handled by S.
I think a discussion about Slack vs. Teams and G Suite vs. Microsoft 365 may be a good topics for some future posts – I will jot down some notes about those so maybe they will come into fruition.
